I've got a Kasteel for you courtesy of Ms. Vardaros.

Honey, just dangle me big one in front of you. That will motivate.

hey ... that's a pretty good looking bike.

Motivation has never been a problem for me. However, placing a hot chick, on a bike, chasing a beer, in front of me - that would definitely promote focus.

Rochefort... Mmmmmm... Good choice! You'll have to get Christine (peanut) to send you a supply!

Nice. Is that why your tongue is out too in the header? :)

BH could stand for Beer Head.

Btw, can I tempt you on a link to my blog here.

Here's something from it for peeps.

It doesn't look like a bottle of Achel Bruin 8 , so it will slow you down or won't it .

PS check your Gmail-account.

"a vanderkitten on a Bh is always motivating"

Is that cause it never happens? Kinda like you never see them wear Tifosi sunglasses?

Liz Hatch said...

I'm going to have to answer that one and say that Vanderkitten does in fact race and train on BH bikes, which we love. (Just ask Mr. Angry Buddist who supplies us with our awesome Connect frames and works for BH.)

As for Tifosi, the whole team minus myself is sponsored by and wears them . I had a prior sponsorship with Oakley.

And there you have it.

Sure doesn't always LOOK like you ride the bikes

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT click on the "Poem" by Anonymous. I ran a check and it's the Marco Polo bug.

Liz,
You gotta stop allowing Anonymous writers. Seriously. Your hostile "stalker" just isn't worth it anymore. Luv ya and be safe.

Anonymous said...

Oh there's more of us? This was my first comment here :(

On my blog, www.tindonkey.com, I have done a series of posts noting the attractive intersection of beer and cycling but this is the first time I have seen this great concept in action. Although I am a bit distressed that the bottle appears to be empty in the photo...

FriendsofLiz said...

Yeah that's true and actually "stalker" just committed a crime by affecting your computer and everyone else's. If you take away the anonymous button and you're thinking well he can just post a blank blog (like he did earlier), that's great because then you can report abuse to Blogger and they can track him down. Word of the day angry Stalker: Felony.

greyhound said...

Maybe I'll try that. I need something here right before the taper. I'm overcooked and undermotivated.

Anonymous said...

Friendsofliz,

What are you, 10 years old? You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Define "affecting of computer". Did it crash? Did your hard drive fail? What is the "crime" here? Oh, please arrest me...boo boo

...***to the anonymous poster who seems to think they are so very clever***...

...i would imagine you see yourself as having wonderful computer skills because you can create links & be disruptive but what you are doing best is revealing just what a small minded person you really are...

...perhaps when you get over yourself & mature a little, you'll learn to be a contributer...

...it's no secret that i'm a person who blogs w/ an attitude...but i also have it w/in me to admit that i can be wrong...& right or wrong, i offer constructive methods to counter whatever i feel the need to criticize...

...your belittling style honestly sez more about you than the kind of things you have to say about anyone else in this life...

...so hey...it's your opportunity...good luck...

Why can I not be as eloquent as BGW?

Well said!

I hope the beer will be on the right temps today.
The motivation for drinking it today will be 1 for a good reason.

Let's drink 1 on Liz's Birthday.

Its no secret that you're admitting now that you're wrong. Simple.

...your belittling style honestly sez more about you than the kind of things you have to say about anyone else in this life...

You belittle words with poor spellings. "sez"?

Liz,

I just stumbled across your site today and after reading several of your older blogs, I thought I knew who Mr. Anon was, but then I saw his real name in response to a later blog.

Happy Birthday!

Dear Liz,

While I like what you're doing for women's racing at home here, please zip up your jersey and ride decently like the other women in the peleton.

Big boobs may be camera fodder but its terrible at aerodynamics.

girlie said...

Dear Liz,

Do what you want and what is necessary to keep your core body temperature down, on such hot days.

Do what helps you achieve your goals with the values you deem acceptable.

Please, continue to express yourself as you see fit.

Best,
girlie

Dear Liz,

I saw your cleavage at Allentown, and thought it was nice in person. Those fucking glasses are hideous though.
